CANADIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL
English & French for Everybody
The method we use for teaching is called The Method of Three Synergetic Competencies. This method is used in Canada to teach English and French to immigrants. This method is very effective and people who come to live and work in Canada are able to move to the job market relatively quickly - many of them already in five months.
The method is very simple. The basic grammar is explained to students and then three basic skills are practiced:
- speaking
- understanding
- writing
Practically this means that the students read and discuss text materials while practicing dialogue related reading activities alongside writing activities.
Three Synergetic Competencies
TO UNDERSTAND ORAL AND WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS
A very important part of our teaching method are our study materials. Our study program has five levels. Each level consists of three books marked A, B and C.
Each book contains four lessons. Each lesson contains:
- new vocabulary
- new grammar
- grammar exercises
- reading
- conversation
- writing
- testing materials
Grammar is explained a simple way in a logical sequence. It is fun to learn using our materials.
After the five levels are completed, our students understand the basic grammatical structures, have a vocabulary of 5,000 words and are able to communicate on a good level. This competency is known in Canada as Working Knowledge.
Our graduates receive a Certificate of Proficiency in English.
